materials, beads, glass, resin, natural fiber

Each individual stitch, small on its own, collectively, weave a limitless tapestry of possibilities.

I use the act of embroidery to reimagine my fate line with gold thread, to achieve a narrative deeply embedded in diasporic and queer futurisms. The term "Desire Line" refers to a path created as a consequence of natural human movement that deviates from prescribed pathways. In this work, the desire line is both a literal and metaphorical path symbolizing a new trajectory. As these threads intertwine, they form a resilient and luminous tapestry, showcasing the power of unity in shaping hopeful and liberated visions of the future
